Paul Gunther, co-author of the book New York Living: Re-inventing Home, along with two of the featured designers in the book, Tamara Eaton and Chris Kraig, will discuss the almost limitless ways New Yorkers re-imagine living space.

As the panelists will describe, New York Living dives through dwellings in the five boroughs to uncover interior design gems.  New York City is one of the leading design and architecture centers of the western world, and as a result, the combined professions employ an unprecedented range of prospective design solutions to recreate and reinvent homes.

Paul Gunther is a veteran of the New York arts and design world, joining the Gracie Mansion Conservancy as Executive Director, after 35 years as an author, consultant, and executive in the field of historical preservation, land use, and cultural institutions. Tamara Eaton, named a Curbed Top Young Designer, has carved out an immense following in New York and beyond since she launched her firm in 2009.  She has worked on multiple high profiles homes through-out the Tri-State area.  Her firm also designs commercial and hospitality spaces and has designed for multiple prestigious charity events. Her work has been featured in Architectural Digest, WSJ, NY Times, and Luxe Magazine. She currently has over 15 projects under construction.  Chris Kraig is an award-winning New York City based creative who has been immersed in the international design scene and active as a taste maker for over 20 years. Always engaged in cutting edge design Mr. Kraig is the Principle of Chris Kraig Studio which creates environments for residential and commercial spaces.

New York Living: Re-inventing Home is published by Rizzoli International Publications and is co-authored by Paul Gunther, Gay Giordano and Charles Davey.
