The General Society of Mechanics and Tradesmen in partnership with the Institute of Classical Architecture & Art is pleased to present Collaboration Inside and Out: A Discussion with Edmund Hollander and Peter Pennoyer. Landscape architect Edmund Hollander and architect Peter Pennoyer will draw aside the curtain on the partnership and the process – what it really takes to create a spectacular residence from the inside out and the outside in.
Hollander and Pennoyer will share anecdotes from their process and discuss the evolution of the design aesthetic and challenges they face, offering a rare, behind-the-scenes look at how architects and landscape architects really work together. This discussion will be moderated by ICAA President, Peter Lyden.
After the lecture, Peter Pennoyer will be signing his book Peter Pennoyer Architects, and Edmund Hollander will be signing his book The Good Garden. Books will be available for purchase.
