A Special Screening of the Film Documentary,
One Track Mind
With Philip Ashforth Coppola and Director Jeremy Workman

A portrait of a man consumed by a singular obsession: the décor, design, art and architecture of the New York City subway stations.

On Tuesday, May 3rd at 6:30 p.m. Reception to follow.

Philip Ashforth Coppola has devoted all his free time in the last 40 years to try to catalog every station in the New York City subway system, exquisitely illustrating and documenting the stations. Filmed over the course of four years, One Track Mind is a portrait of a man consumed by a singular obsession – the décor, design, art and architecture of the New York City subway stations.

The film, shot almost entirely in the subways using small handheld cameras, is also a loving portrait of a city’s unique artistic idiosyncrasies. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Philip Coppola and the film’s director Jeremy Workman about the making of the film.

Jeremy Workman’s documentary films have screened at over 60 film festivals in more than 10 countries. His award-winning documentaries include Magical Universe, Who Is Henry Jaglom?, and One Track Mind. His latest documentary, Magical Universe won nearly ten film festival awards and was listed as The Best Film of 2014 by TrustMovies. Mr. Workman’s documentaries have played at such film festivals as Tribeca, Woodstock, DocNYC, Hamptons, Slamdance, Melbourne, AFI, among others. Currently, he is filming a documentary on Matt Green’s quest to walk every street in all of New York City.
